Meet William

William concentrates his practice in civil litigation and insurance coverage, primarily defending trade and general contractors in New York Labor Law claims, trucking companies with six-figure self-insured retentions, condominiums, cooperatives, restaurants, taverns and homeowners. His broad experience in the insurance industry includes delivering risk transfer lectures for underwriting and claims professionals, drafting coverage position letters with partial disclaimers, and defending motor carriers from intake through trial; most notably securing a defense verdict in a New Jersey bench trial.

Prior to joining Gallo Vitucci Klar LLP, William worked as a general liability claims adjuster for a national property and casualty insurer. He held a Florida 6-20 All-Lines Adjuster License and handled claims across multiple states. He also served as staff counsel for the same insurer. This in-house experience gives him a unique perspective on assessing ultimate probable cost at the earliest possible stage.

William began his legal career as a transactional attorney for a global reinsurer and later litigated personal injury cases at a panel counsel firm in New York.
