Meet Taylor

Taylor Goodspeed concentrates his practice on transportation and automobile litigation defense. He brings extensive trial and investigative experience to the firm, shaped by his prior service as a prosecutor in a major New York City District Attorney’s Office. As the former Chief of the Vehicular Crimes Unit, Taylor led complex investigations involving serious injuries and fatal motor vehicle collisions. He worked closely with law enforcement agencies, often responding to crash scenes around the clock to provide immediate legal guidance and ensure the proper collection and preservation of evidence.

During his time as an Assistant District Attorney, Taylor handled a broad range of felony cases, conducted numerous suppression hearings, and engaged in substantial motion practice. He presented hundreds of cases to the grand jury and secured indictments in matters ranging from felony DWI to attempted murder. He also successfully tried multiple high-stakes cases to verdict.

Taylor earned his J.D., cum laude, from the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University, where he concentrated in criminal law. He received his undergraduate degree with honors in American History from SUNY Empire State College in 2017.

Before launching his legal career, Taylor served as a combat medic in the U.S. Army National Guard, with assignments in both New York and Hawaii. His military service instilled in him the discipline, precision, and dedication that he brings to every case.

Outside the office, Taylor enjoys spending time with his wife, their two young children, and the family’s two French Bulldogs.
