Peter Frucchione concentrates his practice on complex insurance defense and transportation-related litigation.
He represents insurance carriers, self-insured entities, and transportation companies in a broad range of high-stakes civil matters, including motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, construction and Labor Law claims, catastrophic personal injury, and insurance coverage disputes. Known for his strategic insight and efficiency, he is regularly entrusted with high-exposure cases that demand sophisticated motion practice, thorough risk assessment, and favorable resolutions.
In addition to his civil litigation practice, Peter maintains a robust administrative defense practice, representing bus and transportation companies before the New York City Office of Administrative Trials and Hearings (OATH). His work includes defending enforcement actions and violations issued by the New York City Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) and other municipal agencies, with an emphasis on minimizing regulatory, operational, and financial exposure.
Prior to joining Gallo Vitucci Klar, Peter spent more than 25 years at a nationally recognized insurance defense firm, where he developed and led a comprehensive insurance defense and transportation litigation practice, managing large portfolios of high-exposure transportation and premises liability matters on behalf of institutional clients.
He holds an AV Preeminent® rating from Martindale-Hubbell, the highest peer-recognized distinction for legal ability and professional ethics.
Outside the office, Peter enjoys spending time with his family, relaxing at the beach, and traveling with them.
