Meet Jon

Jon O’Brien’s experience ranges from representing motor vehicle and property owners in general negligence actions to serving as Counsel to the Mayor of New York City, Michael R. Bloomberg, at City Hall. Jon started his career in public defense, culminating in his first verdict—a criminal acquittal. Jon then excelled in-house for a major insurer of commercial motor vehicles, securing a defense verdict from a Bronx Jury. He later represented the largest insurer of private schools and universities for premises liability and sexual assault claims at another firm.

Outside of work, Jon plays squash after work and tries to get up to the Poconos on weekends.
