Jennifer concentrates her practice in catastrophic and large loss, complex matters, with a focus on product and premises liability, transportation, and the hospitality, entertainment, and security industries. She brings extensive litigation and trial experience to the firm’s clients, particularly in high-exposure claims involving catastrophic injuries, wrongful death, and highly sensitive contractual and insurance coverage issues.
She represents local, national, and international corporations — including private industries, insurance companies, and self-insured entities of all sizes — in high-profile litigation. Jennifer emphasizes early resolution when appropriate, employing strategic litigation tactics and engaging in settlement discussions to minimize risk and expense. She has achieved consistent success through motion practice and pre-trial strategy, resulting in numerous dismissals, favorable settlements, and defense judgments. She has also obtained defense verdicts in high-stakes jury and bench trials involving technical legal issues.
Jennifer earned her B.A. in Journalism from the University of Oregon and her J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law, Illinois Institute of Technology. She is licensed to practice in both state and federal courts in California and Illinois, including the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
In addition to advising clients, businesses, and risk managers, Jennifer has presented seminars in both the United States and the United Kingdom on trial strategy and risk mitigation. She has also authored articles on liability topics and legal developments relevant to her practice areas.
