Meet Jared
Jared P. Blau-Kursman is now in insurance litigation after completing a judicial clerkship under the Hon. Manuel J. Mendez (current Associate Justice for the New York State Appellate Division). Prior to becoming a litigator, Jared worked in OSHA and environmental compliance law, developing a compliance skillset which he further expanded into the context of healthcare law during his LL.M. in Health Law & Public Policy. He has published and copyrighted an extensive article on opioid analgesic alternatives which has passed peer review by the Food & Drug Law Journal: “Overregulating Cannabis and Underregulating Prescription Opioids: Is a Compelling Opioid Crisis Remediation Strategy Getting Lost in the Weeds?”
Outside of legal practice, Jared is an avid guitarist and fitness/martial arts enthusiast.
