James is a part of Gallo Vitucci Klar LLP’s Labor Law group. Prior to GVK, James gained experience with matters exclusively in the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York at the New York City Law Department. In addition, he worked at a prestigious firm in Santa Fe, New Mexico where he worked on securities, constitutional, employment, and private international law matters.
During law school, James received an LL.M in International European Business Law in Lyon, France. James was also a research assistant for Professor Aaron Twerski, a preeminent authority in the areas of product liability and tort law. Professor Twerski’s prodigious scholarship influences James’ analytical framework of tort law to this day. James was also a judicial intern for the Honorable Esther Salas in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
Before law school, James spent time in France, a summer in India, and was a press intern for United States Senator Kirsten Gillibrand in Washington D.C.
James’s interests outside of the office include French culture, foreign affairs, fashion, art, video games, and sports. James is an avid fan of the Knicks, Mets, Giants, Paris-Saint Germain, and St. John’s basketball teams.
