Meet Heinz
Heinz concentrates his practice on personal injury and wrongful death matters, with a focus on premises liability, trucking and transportation, and products liability. He also has extensive experience handling a wide range of general liability claims. Before joining the firm’s Walnut Creek office, Heinz practiced insurance defense law in Los Angeles County and the San Francisco Bay Area. He also gained valuable business perspective through roles at two technology startups: a broadcast media monitoring company and a legal software provider.
Heinz has represented individuals and corporations of all sizes, from family-owned trucking companies and entertainment venues to national retail chains and grocery stores. He has saved clients millions of dollars by strategically leveraging motion practice to resolve claims prior to trial, including successfully arguing a motion for terminating sanctions, a motion to dismiss, and two motions for summary judgment, one involving a severe traumatic brain injury.
Outside of the office, Heinz enjoys exploring the Bay Area’s natural landscapes and experimenting with new technologies.
