Josephine concentrates her practice on General Liability, Premises Liability, Labor Law, Construction Defect, Property Damage, and Insurance Coverage matters.
Before joining Gallo Vitucci Klar LLP, Josephine managed complex, high-exposure defense cases involving premises liability, motor vehicle accidents, UM/SUM arbitration and special proceedings, SIU fraud investigations, construction/design defects, and property damage claims. She is a skilled negotiator, frequently achieving favorable settlements in multimillion-dollar construction and design litigation.
In private practice, Josephine also served as general counsel to one of the largest privately held Special Education Service Centers and Academies, where she successfully advised, negotiated, litigated, and arbitrated a broad range of employment matters and contractual issues. Her experience extends to defending corporate employment actions at the state, federal, and administrative levels, and she notably secured a favorable settlement in the high-profile Monsanto mass tort litigation for plaintiff clients.

Outside of work, Josephine enjoys traveling with her family, cheering on her children at sporting events, hiking with her German Shepherd, swimming, and refining her culinary talents. She is fluent in Italian.
Chris concentrates his practice on defending complex claims throughout New York, with a particular emphasis on premises liability and general liability matters. His prior experience includes representing clients in governmental tort actions, where he regularly analyzed municipal liability issues in state court.
Outside the office, Chris enjoys seeing the latest films on the big screen, collecting vinyl records, cooking Mexican cuisine, and diving into a good sci-fi novel.
Joanna concentrates her practice on admiralty, transportation, marine insurance, and general liability matters. She brings a broad range of legal experience, including maritime litigation, commercial litigation, and transactional work. Joanna earned her J.D. from Tulane University School of Law in 2024, along with a Certificate of Specialization in Admiralty & Maritime Law. During law school, she was an active member of the Mock Trial Team and the Maritime Law Society.
Outside of the office, Joanna enjoys reading, traveling, going to the beach, and spending time with her mini dachshund.
Franklyn concentrates his practice on general liability, insurance coverage, and litigation. He brings extensive experience in insurance defense, no-fault/PIP, and subrogation matters. Known for his sharp analytical skills, Franklyn works closely with clients to protect their interests and develop strategic, results-driven solutions tailored to each case.
Outside of the office, Franklyn enjoys traveling, spending quality time with family and friends and cycling.
Juliana concentrates her practice on PIP and no-fault insurance defense, representing insurance carriers and related entities in complex disputes involving personal injury protection claims. Her diverse legal background—including experience in legal aid, immigration, and both income and business tax law—gives her a well-rounded perspective and a nuanced understanding of a broad spectrum of legal issues. Prior to joining the firm, Juliana worked on the plaintiff side of personal injury law, focusing on motor vehicle accident cases. There, she developed strong advocacy skills while helping clients navigate the challenges of pursuing compensation for their injuries. This combination of experience allows Juliana to approach each case with strategic insight and a strong commitment to client-centered representation.
Outside of the office, Juliana enjoys spending time with friends and family, playing soccer and collecting art!
Bob concentrates his practice in civil litigation, with over twenty-five years of experience in Connecticut and New York. He focuses on defending high-exposure claims involving premises liability, products liability, mass torts (including asbestos), general liability, and maritime disputes. His representative experience includes defending industrial manufacturers in complex personal injury and product liability matters, as well as working closely with both fact witnesses and expert consultants to build strong, effective defenses.
Bob collaborates with clients to develop aggressive, cost-effective strategies that drive successful outcomes for both the client and carrier. Before joining the firm, he practiced at two national and one regional law firm. He is licensed to practice in New York and Connecticut. Prior to his legal career, Bob served in the U.S. Navy as a surface warfare and engineering officer, completing three overseas deployments.
When not in the office, he spends his time with his family, the family rescue dog, salt water fishing and golfing.
Dario concentrates his practice on commercial transportation litigation and automobile defense. Before joining the firm, he gained valuable experience at the New York City Office of the Corporation Counsel, where he represented the City of New York in civil litigation in state court. His broad legal background includes handling a diverse range of civil claims involving personal injury, property damage, and civil rights violations across general liability, premises liability, and motor vehicle accidents. Dario is a skilled and strategic litigator, known for effectively leveraging his advocacy and creative problem-solving abilities to protect and advance his clients’ interests.
When not in the office, Dario enjoys spending time with his two cats, biking, hiking and gaming with friends.
Susan concentrates her practice in Labor Law, General Liability, Premises Liability, and Motor Vehicle Accident litigation. A Partner at the firm, she brings extensive legal experience spanning from 1985 to the present. Before joining the firm, Susan served as Of Counsel at a highly regarded insurance defense firm, representing a range of insurance carriers.
Outside the office, Susan enjoys film, theater, and dining and is a devoted fan of the New York Rangers and the New York Mets.

Prior to transitioning to civil practice, Joseph served as an Assistant District Attorney at the Bronx District Attorney’s Office, where he gained significant courtroom and investigative experience. His extensive background in litigation and negotiation enhances his ability to advocate effectively for his clients.
Outside the office, Joseph is an avid sports fan and enjoys trying new restaurants in New York City.
Rebecca concentrates her practice on commercial litigation, including New York Labor Law, premises liability, and contractual disputes. With over a decade of legal experience, she has worked at prominent commercial litigation and insurance defense law firms, as well as in-house at a Fortune 500 and global insurance company, handling regulatory and compliance matters.
Before joining the firm, Rebecca represented major government entities, municipalities, large corporations, and renowned construction companies. She has authored numerous summary judgment motions in complex commercial litigation and New York Labor Law cases, securing favorable outcomes for her clients. Committed to achieving early resolutions, Rebecca leverages strategic advocacy and persistent efforts to dismiss claims, along with skillful negotiation and mediation tactics.
