Mr. Cogan focuses on the representation of individuals, as well as privately and publicly owned businesses, during all phases of litigation from inception through trial and appeal. His areas of practice include construction law, general negligence, insurance coverage, employment law, product liability, premises liability, the drafting and negotiations of contracts, general business advice and commercial litigation.
Mr. Cogan graduated from Fordham University School of Law in 1993 and Cornell University in 1990. In January 1996 he became associated with the Firm and in January 1999 he became a partner at the Firm. Mr. Cogan was admitted to New York State bar in 1994 and the New Jersey State bar in 1996. He is also admitted to the United State District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York and the District of New Jersey. Mr. Cogan’s pro bono activities include assignments as an Arbitrator in the Small Claims Court of the City of New York.
