Ms. Szemer practices general liability, premises, automobile and construction liability law, with an emphasis on defending municipal clients.

Ms. Szemer graduated from St. John's University School of Law in 1997. While in law school she participated in a clerkship with New York State Supreme Court Justice Joseph G. Golia. Ms. Szemer graduated from State University of New York at Stony Brook in 1993 with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. Prior to joining Gallo, Vitucci and Klar she worked for ten years at Morris, Duffy, Alonso & Faley, where she also defended clients on general liability, automobile, and premises negligence cases.
